Our Club History

Sterling Saints originally began playing at Matthews Centre in 1978 and was known as Catholic Netball Association; our club colours were teal and cream.

In 1990 when State League started, Catholic Netball came under the Rangers Region, however, the Club decided to stay at Matthews Netball Centre. This meant we had to change our name, it was decided to re-name the club to - Sterling Netball club.

Sterling Netball Club rapidly grew and in 2006/07,  we changed our name to the Sterling Saints Netball Club and changed our club colours to the current black, gold and white.

We pride ourselves on being called the Players Club, we welcome new Players of any standard. Our Committee is very strong and all working for the goal of making Sterling Saints a great Club to belong to!
